1st Contact began its life in 1996, with a dream to build a fiercely customer-focused business offering a range of services to the mobile professional in the UK, particularly those from Australasia and South Africa. It has now mushroomed into a multi-national operation: 3 offices (in London, Melbourne and Cape Town), 250 staff, 300000 current clients, and annual sales in excess of £40 million.
This phenomenal growth has been driven by two simple principles: a) internally, an obsession with employing only the very best staff and, b) externally, a deep hunger to provide an heroic customer service experience. We recognise that every single client has a choice of provider, and we are intensely proud of the fact that over 65% of our new business comes from Word-of-Mouth referrals from existing clients.
